The Department of Journalism held an alumni event for students and faculty to hear from some of alumni about their experiences and what advice they have for future journalists. Joining us on March 28, 2019, were Derek Turner, who graduated in 2013 and is an online producer for the New Haven Register; Taylor Jacobs, who graduated in 2016 and is a broadcast news reporter in Western Massachusetts; Erin O’Donnell, who graduated in 2016 and is a healthcare journalist for the Berkeley Research Group; and Devin Leith-Yessian, who graduated in 2016 and is a reporter for the Meriden Record-Journal.
